ONE-TIME FOUNDER’S SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED BY KOLPING HEI

On 26 March 2026, one-time Founder’s Scholarships were awarded at Kolping HEI. This year is a special one for the college, which marks its 30th anniversary, being a mature and significant milestone. During the event, Dieter Fischer scholarships, awarded to students for their outstanding academic achievements, were presented to them in person by Dieter Fischer, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Education Association of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg, who had travelled to the event specifically for this purpose, accompanied by his wife, Silvia Fischer.

As Lithuania’s first private higher education institution, Kolping HEI has a proud history of supporting students through scholarships. This year, 37 students received the Founder’s Scholarships in recognition of their academic excellence, contributions to the college’s reputation, and active community involvement. The awards also took students’ financial needs into account, with three female students receiving Dieter Fischer scholarships for their outstanding academic achievements.

The scholarships were presented with congratulatory remarks from distinguished representatives, including Lina Kalibataitė, the National Secretary of the Lithuanian Kolping Society and Foundation; Dieter Fischer, Chairman of the Circle of Friends of the Lithuanian Kolping Foundation; Vytautas Kirka, Director of Kolping HEI; and Gabija Rutkūnaitė, Coordinator of the Student Services Centre.
