INVITATION TO THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE 2026

Researchers, scholars and practitioners from various fields are invited on March 19th to attend the International Scientific-Practical Conference 2026 “SUSTAINABILITY DIRECTIONS: SOCIETAL, BUSINESS AND EDUCATIONAL TRANSFORMATIONS AND FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES“.

PURPOSES OF THE CONFERENCE

To bring together researchers, scholars and practitioners from diverse scientific disciplines for an international dialogue on sustainability directions, focusing on the identification of current challenges and the analysis of future opportunities, presenting recent research findings, and sharing practical insights, best practices and innovative solutions contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals.

DESCRIPTION OF THE CONFERENCE

Sustainability directions are becoming increasingly important in the contemporary world in order to ensure a balanced integration of social, economic and environmental dimensions. The Sustainable Development Goals encompass a wide range of areas, including climate change management, the promotion of social well-being, responsible consumption and production, as well as the sustainability of education and labour markets. These goals can be implemented at the individual, organisational and national levels.

During the conference, various sustainability directions will be discussed, including the role of youth in sustainable activities, the development of sustainable communities, the promotion of socio-cultural sustainability, volunteering as a means of strengthening community engagement, and the inclusion of persons with disabilities in sustainable practices. The conference will also present experiences from different European countries, aiming to identify ongoing transformations and to share good practices that contribute to future-oriented sustainability solutions. Special attention will be given to an interdisciplinary approach, the interaction between science and practice, and solutions that have a tangible impact on the sustainable development of regions, organisations and communities.

CONFERENCE SUB-THEMES

Participants are invited to read reports and publish articles (in English or Lithuanian) on the following sub-topics:

• Implementation of sustainability principles in organisations and the public sector.
• Sustainable societal development, social well-being and inclusion.
• Quality, inclusive and sustainability-oriented education.
• Strengthening sustainable communities and social capital.
• Inclusion of persons with disabilities in sustainable social, economic and community activities.
• Sustainability innovations, business transformations and responsible governance.
• Responsible production, consumption and circular economy solutions.
• Climate change management, environmental protection and sustainable development strategies.
