Guest Lecturers from Latvia Visited Kolping HEI

From 10 to 12 December 2025, representatives of RTU Rezekne Academy (Latvia), Olga Trančenoka, Ēvalds Višķers, Inese Novika, Inga Lesničija, and Kristīne Zeimale, visited Kolping HEI under the Erasmus+ programme to strengthen international cooperation and share best practices. During the visit, the guests were acquainted with Kolping HEI’s structure and management, as well as its administrative units and their functions. The Kolping HEI’s quality assurance procedures for studies and activities were also presented, with an emphasis on continuous improvement processes and the importance of feedback. Discussions focused on the use of information technologies in the study process, from virtual learning environments to digital tools, to improve study quality and student engagement. In addition, experiences were shared on organising student and faculty mobility, opportunities for international cooperation, and tools for developing intercultural competencies.
