INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONFERENCE “Theory and Practice: Student Insights 2025”

The 14th International Student Conference, “Theory and Practice: Student Insights 2025”, took place on 20 November 2025. The remote conference, organised by the Kolping HEI to celebrate International Students’ Day, attracted 89 presentations and featured over 100 participants from across Lithuania and abroad.

During the conference opening, welcoming remarks were delivered by Dr Ramunė Bagdonaitė-Stelmokienė, Vytautas Kirka, the Director of Kolping HEI, and Arminas Girnius, the President of the Kolping HEI Students’ Representation Office. The conference moderators, Snežana Šostak, a third-year student of Social Work Management, and Rūta Radzevičiūtė, a second-year student of Child Welfare and Security at Kolping HEI, also welcomed the participants and were pleased with the large number of them.

Speakers worked in six groups based on social work, business, management, and accounting study fields. Students from Kolping HEI, Utena HEI, Panevėžys HEI, Vilnius College, Vilnius HEI, College of Social Sciences, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Vytautas Magnus University, Kaunas University of Technology, European University of Humanities, John Paul II University (Poland), Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (Germany), Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain), and the Gandhigram Rural Institute (India) discussed contemporary perspectives, shared their experiences and insights.

We were all delighted by the exciting student presentations and valuable scientific insights. We thank the group moderators for their excellent work and the Conference participants for their active participation.
