THE KOLPING HEI REPRESENTATIVES’ VISIT TO THE CZECH REPUBLIC

From 7 to 10 October 2025, Vytautas Kirka, the lecturer at the Centre for Social Welfare at Kolping HEI, visited the Czech Republic to attend a training course at the University of Ostrava under the Erasmus+ programme. The training focused on the digitalisation and adaptation of social work in the era of artificial intelligence. It also discussed the vulnerability of disadvantaged people in the context of artificial intelligence, as well as their resilience to disinformation and misinformation. During this visit, significant knowledge exchange and collaboration opportunities were explored with colleagues from the European Research Institute for Social Work (ERIS), thereby enhancing the university’s international networking and learning.
