Kolping HEI’s Representatives Visit Iceland

From 10 to 15 June 2025 Kolping HEI Social Welfare Centre lecturers Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ramunė Bagdonaitė-Stelmokienė, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vida Lukamskienė, Evelina Darulienė and Vitalija Mikutaitienė visited Reykjavík University, where they got acquainted with the study and non-formal education programmes and research conducted there. They also took part in the international conference “The Science and Practice of Extended Learning, Youth Development and Wellbeing” (GELYDA 2025). During the conference, the lecturers met foreign researchers, took part in scientific discussions and working groups, and got acquainted with organisations responsible for youth and adult education in Reykjavik. We hope that the new international contacts set up, the possible joint applied research directions and research projects discussed will bring productive results in the future and will contribute to the development of Kolping HEI’s scientific activities.
