CONTINUING A LONG TRADITION OF COOPERATION AT THE SOCIAL PARTNERS’ BREAKFAST

On 9 January 2025, Kolping HEI continued its long-standing tradition by hosting a breakfast for social partners. The event was a testament to our commitment to collaboration, with representatives from a wide array of diverse organisations, each playing a crucial role in our work at the Centre for Social Welfare and the Centre for Economics and Business of Kolping HEI, in attendance.
The meeting was attended by Sigita Šimkienė (Kaunas Municipality). Sigita Stonaitytė (Kaunas House of Generations), Lina Gryzlovienė (Kaunas Municipal Children’s Home), Rasa Kirkaitė (Lithuanian Zoo), Giedrė Aukšščiūnienė (Kaunas Archdiocesan Family Centre), Gitana Zaikauskienė (Kaunas Prison), Kolping HEI graduate Indrė Jaugėlaitė (Kaunas ‘Arka’ community), Dr Nerijus Jurkonis (VMU Botanical Garden), Dalia Auškelytė (UAB Breitto), Vaida Sinkevičienė (UAB Hegelmann Logistics).
Representatives of Kolping HEI: Director Vytautas Kirka, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr Daiva Beržinskienė-Juozainienė, Head of the Centre for Economics and Business Kristina Karosevičienė, Head of the Centre for Social Welfare Rasa Kirkaitė, and Education Advisor and Assoc. Prof. Dr Ramunė Bagdonaitė-Stelmokienė thanked the partners for their cooperation and discussed the past year, highlighting the significant achievements and positive outcomes. They welcomed the fact that the social partners not only host students for internships but also actively participate in the final bachelor thesis defence commissions, course evaluations, conferences and other events, demonstrating their crucial role in our work. The meeting also discussed further cooperation opportunities for this year, inspiring the partners to continue their efforts.
