THE REPRESENTATIVE OF KOLPING UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES HAS VISITED SOUTH TYROL

On the 12th to 15th of February this year, Lina Kalibataitė, the representative of Kolping University of Applied Sciences has participated in Erasmus+ program and has visited Kolping organizations in South Tyrol (Italy), where she went to study and gain good practice of work with young people. Kurt Egger (the Chairman of Kolping in South Tyrol), Otto von Dellemann (the Chairman of the Board of Meran Kolping hotel), Giorgio Nesle (the National Secretary of Kolping Sued Tirol in South Tyrol), dr. Armin Holzer (the Head of Kolpinghaus Bozen), Julian Preims (the Head of Kolping Hotel Meran) have also participated in meetings and discussed different topics related with the education of the youth.

During the visit, not only the main tasks, problems and their solutions in order to involve the youth, but also the youth education programs and matters of self-confidence and work with youth groups were discussed. The representatives shared their experience of informal education in Lithuania and Italy, discussed the importance of civil and Christian education, as well as the possibilities for the students’ practical training.
