INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONFERENCE OF 2022

The 11th International Student Conference ‘Theory and Practice: Student Insights 2022’ took place on 17 November 2022. The remote conference, organised by the KUAS to celebrate International Students’ Day, attracted 36 presentations and 100 participants from different cities in Lithuania and abroad.

The conference was opened by welcoming remarks of Lina Kalibataitė, the National Secretary of the Lithuanian Kolping Society, Dr Ramunė Bagdonaitė-Stelmokienė, the Director of the KUAS, and Andželika Viršilaitė, the President of the KUAS Students’ Representation. The conference moderators, Evelina Darulienė, a lecturer and the KUAS Student Services Centre Coordinator, and Silvija Paužaitė, a first-year student of the KUAS Social Work Management study programme, also welcomed the participants and expressed their delight at the numerous attendance.

Speakers worked in three groups based on social work, business, and tourism studies. Students from the KUAS, Utena University of Applied Sciences, Panevėžys University of Applied Sciences, Vilnius University of Applied Sciences, Vytautas Magnus University, Kaunas University of Technology, and the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (Germany) discussed contemporary perspectives and shared their experiences and insights.

We were all delighted by the exciting student presentations and valuable scientific insights. We thank the group moderators for their excellent work and the conference participants for their active participation.
