UNIVERSITY EXPANDS ITS SOCIAL CIRCLE: THE ERASMUS+ COORPORATION AGREEMENT WITH NATIONAL CONSERVATORY OF ARTS AND CRAFTS

In September 2021, KUAS signed a cooperation agreement with the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (France) to participate in the Erasmus+ Mobility Programme.
On 28-29 September, Assoc. Prof. Dr Ramunė Bagdonaitė-Stelmokienė, the director of KUAS, and Assoc. Prof. Dr Vida Lukamskienė, the lecturer at Social Welfare Centre, visited the Conservatory. During the meeting with conservatory staff and professors, they got acquainted with the realisation of lifelong learning and vocational training at the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts. They also discussed the opportunities for further cooperation in programmes of social work studies and conducting of social work research.
Moreover, during the visit to the Conservatory, Dr Bagdonaitė-Stelmokienė and Dr Lukamskienė participated in the symposium “Participation: A path to inclusion?”, organised by Conservatory, ERIS (European Research Institute for Social Work), Eurodir (European Association of Institutions Training Health and Social Institution Managers), and GIS REACTIFS (Group of Scientific Interest “Research-Action, Inclusion, Social Training”), and gave reports on the following topics: “Inclusion during deinstitutionalisation process in Lithuania. Children in long-term residential care” (Dr Lukamskienė); “Growing Together”: Collaborative learning of Foster Families” (Dr Bagdonaitė-Stelmokienė).
