{"id":4282,"date":"2026-01-20T09:41:53","date_gmt":"2026-01-20T09:41:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/?p=4282"},"modified":"2026-01-20T09:41:58","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T09:41:58","slug":"social-partners-breakfast-meeting-continues-long-standing-tradition-of-cooperation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/2026\/01\/20\/social-partners-breakfast-meeting-continues-long-standing-tradition-of-cooperation\/","title":{"rendered":"Social Partners\u2019 Breakfast Meeting Continues Long-Standing Tradition of Cooperation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On 9\u00a0January\u00a02026,<\/strong> in continuation of a long-standing tradition, Kolping HEI hosted a social partners\u2019 breakfast meeting, attended by representatives from organisations that work closely with both the Kolping HEI Social Welfare Centre and the Centre for Economics and Business.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was attended by Giedr\u0117 Auk\u0161\u0161\u010di\u016bnien\u0117 (Kaunas Archdiocesan Family Centre), Giedrius Jonys and Gintaras Bagd\u017ei\u016bnas (Child Welfare Centre \u2018Pastog\u0117\u2019), Ar\u016bnas Ku\u010dikas (Kaunas Archdiocesan Branch of \u2018Caritas\u2019), Aust\u0117 Juodgudyt\u0117 (Old Town Children\u2019s Day Care Centre), Ilona Abramavi\u010dien\u0117 and Patricija Kaniauskait\u0117 (Kaunas \u2018Arka\u2019 Community), Ernesta Petru\u0161kevi\u010dien\u0117 (Social Care Centre \u2018Vija\u2019), Kristina Mulevi\u010dien\u0117 (VMU Botanical Garden), Mindaugas Rukanskis (\u2018Svirla UAB\u2019), Margarita Teresevi\u010dien\u0117 (Lithuanian Association of Distance and e-Learning, LieDM).<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, the representatives of Kolping HEI expressed their sincere gratitude to the social partners for their purposeful and consistent cooperation, which makes them feel appreciated and recognised for their vital role in enhancing study quality and relevance. It was also highlighted that the social partners are actively involved not only in the organisation of students\u2019 professional practice placements, but also in the activities of the final bachelor thesis defence committees, in the evaluation processes of the fields of study, in scientific and practical conferences, and in other academic and professional events.<\/p>\n<p>Discussing the experience of the past years, it was underlined that such multifaceted cooperation creates conditions for closer integration of theory and practice, promotes the development of students\u2019 professional competencies, and increases the relevance of study programmes to labour market needs. The meeting also outlined specific initiatives for this year, such as joint study-process improvements, student engagement activities, and applied project development, to ensure clear next steps and measurable outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>We thank the social partners for their time, constructive discussions, and the longstanding tradition of cooperation, which not only helps us maintain strong professional ties but also fosters a sense of pride and belonging.
