{"id":3486,"date":"2022-11-23T09:20:13","date_gmt":"2022-11-23T09:20:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/?p=3486"},"modified":"2022-11-28T09:20:57","modified_gmt":"2022-11-28T09:20:57","slug":"international-student-conference-of-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/2022\/11\/23\/international-student-conference-of-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONFERENCE OF 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The 11th International Student Conference \u2018Theory and Practice: Student Insights 2022\u2019 took place on 17\u00a0November\u00a02022.<\/strong> The remote conference, organised by the KUAS to celebrate International Students\u2019 Day, attracted 36 presentations and 100 participants from different cities in Lithuania and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The conference was opened by welcoming remarks of Lina Kalibatait\u0117, the National Secretary of the Lithuanian Kolping Society, Dr\u00a0Ramun\u0117 Bagdonait\u0117-Stelmokien\u0117, the Director of the KUAS, and And\u017eelika Vir\u0161ilait\u0117, the President of the KUAS Students\u2019 Representation. The conference moderators, Evelina Darulien\u0117, a lecturer and the KUAS Student Services Centre Coordinator, and Silvija Pau\u017eait\u0117, a first-year student of the KUAS Social Work Management study programme, also welcomed the participants and expressed their delight at the numerous attendance.<\/p>\n<p>Speakers worked in three groups based on social work, business, and tourism studies. Students from the KUAS, Utena University of Applied Sciences, Panev\u0117\u017eys University of Applied Sciences, Vilnius University of Applied Sciences, Vytautas Magnus University, Kaunas University of Technology, and the Catholic University of Eichst\u00e4tt-Ingolstadt (Germany) discussed contemporary perspectives and shared their experiences and insights.<\/p>\n<p>We were all delighted by the exciting student presentations and valuable scientific insights.
