It is also worth mentioning that this was the second remote conference because of the current situation in the world. Welcoming remarks were made by: Lina Kalibatait\u0117 \u2013 National Secretary of the Kolping Society of Lithuania, Dr. Ramun\u0117 Bagdonait\u0117-Stelmokien\u0117 \u2013 Director of KUAS, Karolina Ra\u0161imait\u0117 \u2013 President of KUAS Student Union.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants from the following higher education institutions: Kolping University of Applied Sciences, Utena College, Panev\u0117\u017eys College,\u00a0 Vytautas Magnus University, Kaunas University of Technology,\u00a0 University of Lodz (Poland), University of Ostrava (Czech Republic), Stavropol State Agrarian University (Russia), Gandhigram Rural Institute (India), shared their experiences and discussed current perspectives.<\/p>\n<p>Students worked in five different groups divided according to the fields of study: social work, logistics, business, and tourism.<\/p>\n<p>We welcome participants from different countries and hope to have even more active students next year.<\/p>\n<p>Many thanks to all attendees of the conference for their participation!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 25th November 2021, Kolping University of Applied Sciences (KUAS) hosted the International Student Conference \u201cTheory and Practice: Student Insights 2021\u201d.
