{"id":2750,"date":"2019-09-20T07:58:08","date_gmt":"2019-09-20T07:58:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/?p=2750"},"modified":"2019-11-04T08:00:31","modified_gmt":"2019-11-04T08:00:31","slug":"discussion-vocational-training-4-0-is-kaunas-ready-for-it-was-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/2019\/09\/20\/discussion-vocational-training-4-0-is-kaunas-ready-for-it-was-held\/","title":{"rendered":"Discussion \u201cVocational Training 4.0 \u2013 Is Kaunas Ready for It?\u201d was held"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>On 20 September 2019, in KUAS, discussion on the topic \u201cVocational Training 4.0 \u2013 Is Kaunas Ready for It?\u201d took place in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation office in Lithuania and the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discussion\nwas started and the commencement speeches were given by Lina Kalibatait\u0117,\nNational Secretary of the Kolping Society of Lithuania and Augustina\nZamu\u0161kevi\u010diut\u0117, representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in\nLithuania.&nbsp; Paulius \u010cepas, Director of Kaunas Technical Vocational\nTraining Centre, Raimundas Bal\u010di\u016bnaitis, Expert of Business and Environment\nDepartment, Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LPK), and Ramun\u0117 Bagdonait\u0117-Stelmokien\u0117,\nDirector of Kolping University of Applied Sciences, took active part in the\ndiscussion.&nbsp; The employers\u2019 side\nwas represented by Dr. Regina Navickien\u0117. Students from KUAS, who are also\ninterested in vocational training, were actively involved in the discussion,\nand graduates from vocational studies willingly shared their experiences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discussion\nwas moderated by Josef Tsch\u00f6p, Head of Vocational Training department of\nGerman-Baltic Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the\ndiscussion, opportunities for apprenticeship in Lithuania were discussed, and\nguests from Germany shared their good practices regarding vocational training.\nStudents shared the importance of vocational training for young people seeking\nto establish themselves in the labour market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We thank all\nparticipants for the active discussions about the vocational education and\ntraining!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 20 September 2019, in KUAS, discussion on the topic \u201cVocational Training 4.0 \u2013 Is Kaunas Ready for It?\u201d took place in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation office in Lithuania and the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce.
