{"id":2662,"date":"2019-03-21T06:36:39","date_gmt":"2019-03-21T06:36:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/?p=2662"},"modified":"2019-04-26T06:40:13","modified_gmt":"2019-04-26T06:40:13","slug":"conference-development-of-social-entrepreneurship-in-changing-society","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/2019\/03\/21\/conference-development-of-social-entrepreneurship-in-changing-society\/","title":{"rendered":"Conference \u201cDevelopment of Social Entrepreneurship in Changing Society\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>On 21 March 2019, an international scientific-practical conference \u201cDevelopment of Social Entrepreneurship in Changing Society\u201d took place at Kolping University of Applied Sciences.\u00a0 The conference brought together not only researchers, scientists, but also practitioners who actively shared the good experiences of social business and also challenges which are faced in the development of social business.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The conference was attended and presentations were made by guests from Germany (Higher School of Business, Technology and Culture), Latvia (Riga Stradi\u0146\u0161 University), Czech Republic (VO\u0160, OA, SPg\u0160, SZ\u0160 Most CZ). From Lithuania, we had speakers from the Third Age University, Lithuanian Social Business Association, Marijampol\u0117 Help Centre, Mykolas Romeris University, National Integration Institute, Kolping Primary School, Vytautas Magnus University. Practical examples of social business were shared by the salad bar \u201cMano guru\u201d (My Guru) and Public institution \u201cPenki poj\u016b\u010diai\u201d (Five senses).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After the plenary session, 80 participants of the conference continued the work in 2 groups (in Lithuanian and English):<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Group 1. Social Entrepreneurship Challenges and Good Practice in Lithuania.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this group, participants shared their experiences on social innovation, actively discussed about subsidiarity in providing assistance to victims of mobbing. They also shared experiences about the activities of the care centre in Marijampol\u0117 municipality and presented examples of social business in Lithuania.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Group 2.
