{"id":2764,"date":"2019-11-12T13:48:53","date_gmt":"2019-11-12T13:48:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/?page_id=2764"},"modified":"2020-06-16T12:21:18","modified_gmt":"2020-06-16T12:21:18","slug":"directions-of-applied-research","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/directions-of-applied-research\/","title":{"rendered":"Directions of applied research"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The directions, topics, scope and duration of applied research is determined taking into account the importance of research for the economy, education and culture of Lithuania and international community, possibilities of the Kolping University of Applied Sciences applied research, researchers\u2019 qualifications, available financial resources, the needs for scientific cooperation with Lithuanian and foreign partners.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the Strategic Plan of Kolping University of Applied Sciences (KUAS) for 2019-2021, an<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_8849.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2766 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_8849-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_8849-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_8849-600x400.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_8849-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_8849-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.kolpingokolegija.lt\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_8849-270x180.jpg 270w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>d Academic Council Resolution No. 20 of 11 January 2019, applied research at KUAS is conducted in the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><em>Socially responsible business and sustainable growth in constantly changing society<\/em><\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Economics and Business Centre is responsible for the organization of scientific activities and the conduct of research.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Social and civic participation in the contexts of contemporary society.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Social Welfare Centre is responsible for the organization of scientific activities and the conduct of research.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><em>Management of KUAS and internal quality.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Responsible \u2013 Quality and Research Department.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>KUAS academic staff actively participates in international research networks:<\/strong> ERIS &#8211; <em>The\u00a0European Research Institute for Social Work<\/em>; EERA &#8211; <em>European Educational Research Association<\/em>; FCRN &#8211; <em>Foster Care Research<\/em>\u00a0<em>Network<\/em>.
