ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Key dates for 2025 intake

Application period opens: 1 February 2025

Application deadline: 30 April 2025

Beginning of studies: 1 September 2025

  1. A copy of passport (must not expire at least 6 months).
  2. A copy of Certificate/Diploma
  3. Academic Transcript (Grades).
  4. An official document certifying proficiency in English (IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent). Minimum required proficiency level is B1. Applicants from the countries where official language is English do not need to submit documents proving knowledge of a foreign language.
  5. Recent passport size photo (3x4cm.);
  6. Motivation letter (1200-4000 characters) has to be an official document with applicant’s signature, contact information. It will be graded from 1 to 10, and applicants with the highest scores will be further considered for admission.
  7. Bank confirmation of paid non-refundable application fee of 100 Euros.
  8. Certificate of recognition of qualifications issued by the Lithuanian Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (Lietuvos studijų kokybės vertinimo centras – SKVC).
  9. Affidavit (original, legalized) providing one‘s pledge to support the Applicant‘s costs of studies and living during the studies period and return trip home.
  10. Bank statement (original, legalized) providing evidence of Applicant’s or sponsor’s financial abilities to provide financial support of the duration of the studies.

Get your secondary education or high school diploma recognized.

The upper secondary or/and higher education qualification documents have to be evaluated by the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC). Applications for evaluation are submitted online at http://epe.skvc.lt/. Recognition process is responsibility of the applicant. Applicant will have to fill in SKVC application form, add certificates/diplomas and transcripts, their translations, proof of ID and proof of purpose (this is a letter applicant will request from HEI after he/she pays the application fee). Evaluation and results

  • All documents have to be either in English or Lithuanian language. Subscription of the Notary for English and Lithuanian translation of all written documents is required.
  • The Application which is missing some of the required documents will not be considered.
  • To make a final decision, the Admissions Committee can ask for additional information or organize an online motivational interview with the applicant.
  • The admission results will be announced individually to the applicant’s e-mail address within 10 working days after the application deadline and after motivational interview.
  • Successful applicants will receive a study contract, which specifies the rights and mutual obligations of the student and the Kolping HEI.

 

Important information

  • The signed study contract together with the document confirming the payment of the tuition fee for the first year of study must be submitted within 10 (ten) working days in response to the received letter.
  • Annual tuition fee for all study programmes for the academic year 2025-2026 is 2600 Eur.
  • If the invited applicant does not pay the tuition fee for the first year of studies by the specified deadlines, it is considered that he/she has not been invited to study at the Kolping HEI.
  • If an applicant invited to study does not come till September 30, the tuition fee paid by him/her for the first year of study is not refunded (except for cases where the foreigner does not receive a visa of the Republic of Lithuania).
  • Admitted students are responsible for all the necessary documents for the trip (passport, insurance and travel expenses) which are not included in tuition the fee and can proceed further with arranging arrival (visas, flights, accommodation).
  • Currently our institution is not able to offer its own dormitory for students. We will inform how to find an accommodation place.
  • The student starts studies only after receiving a National visa D or a temporary residence permit in the Republic of Lithuania and submitting a copy of the Health Insurance to the Kolping HEI for at least 30000 Eur.
  • While applying for visa an applicant has to present a bank statement confirming that he/she has sufficient amount of money to live in Lithuania and pay the tuition fee.
  • How to get VISA or Residence Permit
  • Non-EU degree seeking applicants need a National multiple entry D type visas in order to arrive to Lithuania. They have to apply for it at the closest Embassy of Lithuania before arrival.   • An application for an issue of a temporary residence permit should be submitted electronically through the Lithuanian Migration Information System (MIGRIS –http://www.migracija.lt/).
